Source : ALPhANOV<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le projet LUMEN (Lasers \u00e0 fibre fluor\u00e9e \u00e9mettant dans le visible) r\u00e9unit des partenaires issus du monde acad\u00e9mique et industriel. Son objectif\u00a0: pallier l&#8217;absence de briques technologiques efficaces dans la plage d&#8217;\u00e9mission allant de 400 \u00e0 800\u00a0nm, r\u00e9pondant ainsi aux besoins des industriels confront\u00e9s \u00e0 un manque d&#8217;options performantes dans cette gamme spectrale et plus particuli\u00e8rement pour des puissances sup\u00e9rieures \u00e0 1 \u00e0 2 Watt. C&#8217;est notamment le cas pour les march\u00e9s de la biotechnologie (microscopie 3D, super-r\u00e9solution, s\u00e9quen\u00e7age ADN) ou encore dans le secteur de la quantique. Le projet LUMEN r\u00e9pond \u00e0 ce besoin en permettant une ma\u00eetrise totale, sur le territoire national, de la cha\u00eene de valeur d&#8217;int\u00e9gration et de la fabrication de la fibre fluor\u00e9e dop\u00e9e aux ions terres rares \u00e0 la source laser finale totalement int\u00e9gr\u00e9e. Ce qui garantit la souverainet\u00e9 sur des composants cl\u00e9s sp\u00e9cifiquement d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s. Pour r\u00e9pondre aux exigences des applications industrielles envisag\u00e9es, LUMEN s&#8217;appuie sur le d\u00e9veloppement de lasers \u00e0 \u00e9mission directe dans le visible, continus, polaris\u00e9s et non polaris\u00e9s, de forte puissance. Ces sources seront principalement obtenues \u00e0 partir de fibres fluor\u00e9es dop\u00e9es aux ions pras\u00e9odyme. D&#8217;autres ions terres rares seront \u00e9galement \u00e9tudi\u00e9s pour augmenter la couverture spectrale dans la bande visible et UV apr\u00e8s conversion non-lin\u00e9aire.
