Une belle occasion pour passer en revue les r\u00e9alisations d\u2019exception de cette v\u00e9ritable &#8220;ruche&#8221; de l\u2019innovation dans laquelle s\u2019activent pas moins de 1\u00a0900 chercheurs de haut niveau. Cr\u00e9ation de 60 start-up, 330 partenaires industriels dont 40 % sont des PME et des TPE, 700 publications par an, 2\u00a0760 brevets d\u00e9pos\u00e9s&#8230; le bilan du Leti se passe de commentaire. Ses comp\u00e9tences sont vastes et vont de la r\u00e9alisation d\u2019un circuit de 1\u00a0000 transistors (technologie 5 microm\u00e8tres) en 1972 \u00e0 la technologie FDSOI (Fully depleted Silicon on Insulator) qui r\u00e9volutionne aujourd\u2019hui la micro\u00e9lectronique. Mais aussi la d\u00e9tection infrarouge et, demain, la technologie d\u2019int\u00e9gration Coolcube.\u00a0<i>&#8220;Nos \u00e9quipes savent faire des objets petits, intelligents, communiquant, s\u00fbrs et consommant peu&#8221;<\/i>, pr\u00e9cise Marie-No\u00eblle S\u00e9m\u00e9ria, directrice du Leti.\u00a0<i>&#8220;A l\u2019esprit pionnier qui a toujours anim\u00e9 nos activit\u00e9s, s\u2019ajoute une autre force\u00a0hors du commun\u00a0: la capacit\u00e9 de rassembler une grande diversit\u00e9 de technologies.&#8221;<\/i>\u00a0CMOS, capteurs, communications, packaging et int\u00e9gration 3D, \u00e9lectronique de puissance, imagerie, circuits int\u00e9gr\u00e9s, architectures sp\u00e9cifiques, fusion de donn\u00e9es\u2026 le Leti est sur tous les fronts de la micro\u00e9lectronique.<\/p>\n<p>Au c\u0153ur de cette organisation puissante, se trouve la salle blanche de 8\u00a0500 m<sup>2<\/sup>\u00a0qui f\u00e9d\u00e8re l\u2019ensemble des \u00e9quipes et des plateformes.\u00a0<i>&#8220;Un creuset unique au monde qui permet de construire avec nos partenaires toutes la cha\u00eene de valeur d\u2019un projet, jusqu\u2019au stade de la pr\u00e9-industrialisation&#8221;<\/i>, remarque la responsable du Leti.\u00a0<i>&#8220;En \u00e9lectronique de puissance par exemple, nous sommes capables d\u2019aller de la puce au v\u00e9hicule.&#8221;<\/i>\u00a0Avec des r\u00e9sultats qui se mat\u00e9rialisent dans les nombreuses start-up qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mises sur les rails pendant ses 50 ann\u00e9es d\u2019existence du Leti. Comme Arnano par exemple, qui pr\u00e9sentait \u00e0 Micronora 2016 ses comp\u00e9tences dans le domaine des nanotechnologies avec la Nanoforme, une solution d\u2019archivage en images \u00e0 dur\u00e9e quasi infinie. D\u00e9velopp\u00e9e avec le Leti, cette derni\u00e8re reproduit \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle microscopique des milliers de documents num\u00e9riques en images sur un disque exploitable pendant des si\u00e8cles. En effet, le support de base de ce disque est le saphir synth\u00e9tique, deuxi\u00e8me mat\u00e9riau le plus dur au monde apr\u00e8s le diamant. La Nanoforme r\u00e9siste ainsi \u00e0 des multiples agressions et permet de stocker pendant de longues ann\u00e9es 10\u00a0000 pages A4 ou 10\u00a0000 photos. Une technologie qui est utilis\u00e9e \u00e9galement pour d\u00e9corer des composants horlogers ou encore des accessoires de mode.<\/p>\n<p>D\u2019ailleurs, l\u2019aventure technologique du Leti n\u2019est pas pr\u00eate de s\u2019arr\u00eater et elle se pr\u00e9pare \u00e0 affronter avec brio de nouveaux d\u00e9fis.\u00a0<i>&#8220;Nous ciblons les domaines en transformation dans lesquels l\u2019innovation technologique permettra aux entreprises fran\u00e7aises de se d\u00e9marquer de leurs concurrents&#8221;<\/i>, affirme Marie-No\u00eblle S\u00e9m\u00e9ria.
