Ils couvrent des port\u00e9es de mesure allant jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 120\u00a0m\u00e8tres gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la dynamique \u00e9lev\u00e9e et \u00e0 l&#8217;angle d&#8217;ouverture tr\u00e8s pr\u00e9cis. La fr\u00e9quence radar est de 80\u00a0GHz. Mesurer avec un angle plus serr\u00e9 signifie moins d&#8217;interf\u00e9rences dans le retour du signal. La focalisation sur un petit champ de vision est \u00e9galement tr\u00e8s avantageuse dans la technologie de mesure radar. Alors que les capteurs radar classiques d&#8217;une fr\u00e9quence de 6 ou 26\u00a0GHz ont un angle d&#8217;ouverture de 10 \u00e0 15\u00a0degr\u00e9s, les 3 degr\u00e9s seulement de la nouvelle s\u00e9rie LBR SicWave le rendent comparable \u00e0 un faisceau laser. La focalisation facilite sensiblement l&#8217;alignement pr\u00e9cis du capteur sur la surface du mat\u00e9riau sans avoir \u00e0 se soucier en permanence des d\u00e9fauts caus\u00e9s par des installations ou des d\u00e9p\u00f4ts sur les murs. Le trajet du faisceau focalis\u00e9 est \u00e9galement beaucoup plus fiable en ce qui concerne la poussi\u00e8re. Pour faciliter l&#8217;installation, la mise en service et la surveillance, les capteurs radar LBR SicWave sont \u00e9quip\u00e9s d&#8217;une interface WPAN qui permet un acc\u00e8s \u00e0 une distance allant jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 25\u00a0m\u00e8tres avec une application pour smartphone. La s\u00e9rie con\u00e7ue pour les mat\u00e9riaux en vrac fonctionne de mani\u00e8re fiable dans une plage de temp\u00e9rature de -40\u00b0C \u00e0 +200\u00b0C et \u00e0 des pressions comprises entre -1 et +20 bars. La large gamme de travail permet d&#8217;effectuer de nombreuses t\u00e2ches diff\u00e9rentes avec un seul capteur radar et sans \u00e9talonnage complexe.
