Cette solution permet d&#8217;obtenir des tol\u00e9rances de l&#8217;ordre du microm\u00e8tre (\u03bcm) et des surfaces extr\u00eamement lisses. Ainsi, les phases de reprise comme le polissage ne sont souvent plus n\u00e9cessaires. L&#8217;option &#8220;Mode pr\u00e9cision surface&#8221; garantit une hausse de la qualit\u00e9 des surfaces usin\u00e9es. Le calcul des trajets d&#8217;outil a lieu sur les surfaces r\u00e9elles et non sur un mod\u00e8le de calcul. L&#8217;usinage de surface haute pr\u00e9cision est \u00e9galement assur\u00e9 par la fonction &#8220;chevauchement adouci&#8221;, qui consiste \u00e0 masquer les zones de transition entres les surfaces. Dans la zone de chevauchement, la trajectoire optimis\u00e9e de l&#8217;outil assure une transition parfaite et imperceptible avec la surface adjacente. Les r\u00e9sultats du fraisage sur les ar\u00eates des pi\u00e8ces sont am\u00e9lior\u00e9s gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la fonction &#8220;extension automatique de surfaces&#8221;. Il est ainsi possible d&#8217;\u00e9tendre en p\u00e9riph\u00e9rie les surfaces de fraisage s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9es d\u00e8s la programmation.
