Ce syst\u00e8me de m\u00e9trologie par Variation Focale r\u00e9alise des mesures 3D de forme \u00e0 tr\u00e8s forte r\u00e9solution sur des micro-g\u00e9om\u00e9tries comportant des tol\u00e9rances tr\u00e8s serr\u00e9es, mais \u00e9galement des mesures de rugosit\u00e9 2D et 3D dans des zones difficiles d\u2019acc\u00e8s pour les palpeurs \u00e0 contact. La Variation Focale combine la faible profondeur de champ d\u2019un syst\u00e8me optique et son balayage vertical, afin de fournir une information de topographie en couleurs r\u00e9elles \u00e0 partir de la variation de nettet\u00e9 des images capt\u00e9es.<br \/>\nContrairement aux autres technologies optiques traditionnelles limit\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9clairage coaxial, la pente maximale mesurable ne d\u00e9pend pas de l\u2019ouverture num\u00e9rique de l\u2019objectif utilis\u00e9. La Variation Focale peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9e avec une large gamme de sources lumineuses diff\u00e9rentes (tel qu\u2019un \u00e9clairage annulaire) qui permet la mesure d\u2019angles de plus de 87\u00b0 sur les pentes. Elle est efficace sur des surfaces pr\u00e9sentant une grande gamme de r\u00e9flectances optiques diff\u00e9rentes, ce qui repr\u00e9sente un atout majeur pour la mesure des pi\u00e8ces aux g\u00e9om\u00e9tries complexes. Avec des fichiers de donn\u00e9es 3D pouvant comporter jusqu\u2019\u00e0 500 millions de points, les syst\u00e8mes d\u2019Alicona sont capables de fournir des fichiers de mesure comportant une quantit\u00e9 importante de d\u00e9tails. La grande densit\u00e9 de points de cette technologie de mesure offre des r\u00e9solutions verticale et lat\u00e9rale tr\u00e8s fines, m\u00eame sur des volumes de mesure importants, rendant possible l\u2019obtention de mesures raccord\u00e9es sur des rayons de faible dimension, des angles et des rugosit\u00e9s localis\u00e9s sur des zones difficiles d\u2019acc\u00e8s.
