Source : HMI\" align=\"center\" width=\"848\" height=\"558\" \/><br \/>\nAvec son syst\u00e8me brevet\u00e9 de mesure par ultrasons qui s\u2019installe dans la machine-outil, Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence (HMI) ouvre de nouvelles voies dans le contr\u00f4le automatique des \u00e9paisseurs de paroi. Le palpeur RWP20.50-G-UTP dispose d\u2019une t\u00eate \u00e9quip\u00e9e d&#8217;un capteur d&#8217;un diam\u00e8tre de 15 mm. Cette derni\u00e8re plonge dans les poches de la pi\u00e8ce dans l\u2019axe Z et entre en contact avec la paroi sur le point \u00e0 mesurer. Pr\u00e9alablement \u00e9talonn\u00e9 sur une pi\u00e8ce de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence, le palpeur se place sur la pi\u00e8ce et sa position est automatiquement lue et enregistr\u00e9e. Les ondes ultrasonores sont ensuite \u00e9mises au point de contact et se diffusent dans la pi\u00e8ce. Contrairement \u00e0 la mesure ultrason manuelle, aucun fluide de contact (gel ou eau) n&#8217;est n\u00e9cessaire pour d\u00e9clencher le signal ultrasonore. Ainsi il n&#8217;y a pas de contamination de la pi\u00e8ce \u00e0 usiner et on \u00e9limine le nettoyage on\u00e9reux qui en d\u00e9coule. Comme en optique, les ultrasons se r\u00e9fl\u00e9chissent sur la surface externe oppos\u00e9e de la pi\u00e8ce. Le cycle de mesure d\u00e9termine le temps de r\u00e9ponse entre l&#8217;\u00e9mission du signal et son retour. L&#8217;\u00e9paisseur r\u00e9elle du mat\u00e9riau peut ainsi \u00eatre d\u00e9termin\u00e9e avec une pr\u00e9cision de seulement 10 \u03bcm. La valeur r\u00e9sultante est automatiquement transmise \u00e0 la commande num\u00e9rique (Siemens 840D, Heidenhain TNC6x0 ou iTNC530 et Fanuc FAN) avec les coordonn\u00e9es de position et enregistr\u00e9e avant que le palpeur ne soit d\u00e9plac\u00e9 vers le point de mesure suivant. Un nombre quelconque de points peut \u00eatre mesur\u00e9 et enregistr\u00e9 dans le programme d\u2019usinage sur la machine.<br \/>\nLe syst\u00e8me assure un gain de temps sensible et des r\u00e9sultats de mesure reproductibles \u00e0 tout moment. Ces derni\u00e8res sont int\u00e9gralement et simultan\u00e9ment enregistr\u00e9es, sans aucune erreur. Les informations peuvent \u00eatre transf\u00e9r\u00e9es vers des syst\u00e8mes PPS et trait\u00e9es dans des bases de donn\u00e9es, des tableurs et des logiciels statistiques. La correction cibl\u00e9e des param\u00e8tres d&#8217;usinage est possible donc \u00e0 tout moment, pour garantir le respect des tol\u00e9rances en cours de production. L\u2019utilisateur peut cr\u00e9er une documentation compl\u00e8te du suivi de production de la pi\u00e8ce. Le palpeur \u00e0 ultrasons est install\u00e9 dans le magasin d&#8217;outils et peut \u00eatre appel\u00e9 simplement par le programme d\u2018usinage. Comme les autres palpeurs HMI, il est en acier inoxydable et \u00e9tanche selon la norme IP68, adapt\u00e9 donc \u00e0 l\u2018environnement difficile de la machine-outil. Tous les cycles n\u00e9cessaires sont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s par HMI. Ce palpeur communique avec le nouveau r\u00e9cepteur radio m&#038;h RWR95.51 d\u2019Hexagon.
