Ces derniers sont capables de positionner un objet avec une pr\u00e9cision de l&#8217;ordre du microm\u00e8tre. Ces hexapodes offrent une grande rigidit\u00e9, une excellente pr\u00e9cision de trajectoire et une tr\u00e8s bonne r\u00e9p\u00e9tabilit\u00e9 au sein de leur volume de travail. Par ailleurs, la faible masse de leur plateforme mobile apporte des performances dynamiques int\u00e9ressantes, privil\u00e9giant la charge utile. Enfin, ces syst\u00e8mes permettent de d\u00e9finir un point de pivot flexible facilitant, par exemple, les op\u00e9rations d\u2019alignement optique. PI propose des solutions compl\u00e8tes qui comportent des hexapodes avec contr\u00f4leur num\u00e9rique qui effectue tous les calculs n\u00e9cessaires au syst\u00e8me six axes en transformant les positions cibles cart\u00e9siennes en commandes adapt\u00e9es. Le contr\u00f4leur pour hexapode de PI est disponible avec une interface EtherCat permettant une communication en temps r\u00e9el avec l&#8217;interface Fieldbus d\u2019un automate.
