D\u2019abord, parce que cette technologie n\u00e9cessite la mise au point de t\u00e9l\u00e9phones mobiles ainsi que d\u2019autres solutions compatibles avec la 5G. Autant de dispositifs qui ne peuvent pas \u00eatre r\u00e9alis\u00e9s sans l\u2019apport des technologies microtechniques. Mais au-del\u00e0 de cette opportunit\u00e9 qui soulage un peu la situation tendue, pour ne pas dire catastrophique provoqu\u00e9e par l\u2019\u00e9pid\u00e9mie de Covid-19, la 5G r\u00e9volutionnera les processus de fabrication dans les usines. <\/p>\n<p>Les chiffres se passent de commentaires : ce r\u00e9seau assurera des d\u00e9bits de donn\u00e9es de 10 \u00e0 100 fois plus importants que les 4G et 4,5G, mais \u00e9galement une milliseconde de latence, 1 000 fois plus de bande passante par unit\u00e9 de surface, jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 100 fois plus d&#8217;appareils connect\u00e9s par unit\u00e9 de surface (par rapport \u00e0 la 4G LTE), 99,999 % de disponibilit\u00e9, 100 % de couverture, 90 % de r\u00e9duction de la consommation d&#8217;\u00e9nergie&#8230; <\/p>\n<p>La 5G acc\u00e9l\u00e9rera la mise en place du concept Industrie 4.0 et apportera davantage d\u2019intelligence et de flexibilit\u00e9 aux op\u00e9rations de production. Elle favorisera l\u2019impl\u00e9mentation de l\u2019IIoT (l\u2019Internet des objets industriel) en autorisant jusqu\u2019\u00e0 un million d\u2019appareils par km2 et facilitera le partage des vid\u00e9os de qualit\u00e9 4K, indispensables pour mieux utiliser la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 augment\u00e9e dans la production. L\u2019\u00e9limination des probl\u00e8mes de latence permettra aux \u00e9quipements de production (machines-outils, robots, etc.) d\u2019\u00eatre parfaitement synchronis\u00e9s et de communiquer avec le cloud. Les routeurs sans fil 5G situ\u00e9s dans les installations industrielles \u00e9limineront les c\u00e2bles encombrants et les lignes de production pourront \u00eatre red\u00e9ploy\u00e9es et recon\u00e7ues plus ais\u00e9ment. <\/p>\n<p>Changement radical \u00e9galement pour les chariots autonomes qui communiqueront leur position les uns aux autres en temps r\u00e9el. Comme le d\u00e9montre le projet IC4F (Industrial Communications for Factories) dont la mise en \u0153uvre de la 5G est un des objectifs principaux. Men\u00e9s par une quinzaine de partenaires (Robert Bosch GmbH, Siemens, Deutsche Telekom AG, Still, Nokia, etc.), ces travaux s\u2019inscrivent dans la d\u00e9marche 4.0. \u00ab Nous avons d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 une \u00ab bo\u00eete \u00e0 outils \u00bb technologique dot\u00e9e d\u2019une architecture ouverte favorisant la mise en place d&#8217;une infrastructure industrielle informatique et de communication modulable \u00bb, explique Ansgar Bergmann, chef de projet de la division Technologie &#038; Innovation et responsable IC4F chez Still. De nouvelles applications et technologies 4.0 seront ainsi d\u00e9ploy\u00e9es rapidement et s\u00fbrement.
