Ces capteurs effectuent des mesures avec une pr\u00e9cision sensiblement am\u00e9lior\u00e9e. Sick sera responsable du d\u00e9veloppement des applications et de la vente du produit tandis que la filiale de Trumpf se chargera de la production de la technologie de mesure. Les deux partenaires ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 r\u00e9ussi des tests fonctionnels d&#8217;un capteur quantique pour une application industrielle. <em>&#8220;La technologie quantique permet de mesurer des particules qui sont environ deux cents fois plus petites que la largeur d&#8217;un cheveu humain&#8221;<\/em>, pr\u00e9cise Niels Syassen, vice-pr\u00e9sident senior de la R&#038;D chez Sick et responsable du projet. Les capteurs quantiques pourraient \u00e0 l&#8217;avenir devenir des \u00e9quipements courants dans le g\u00e9nie civil pour visualiser les structures souterraines avant le d\u00e9but des travaux de construction, ou dans l&#8217;industrie pharmaceutique pour d\u00e9terminer la meilleure composition de la poudre de comprim\u00e9s.
