Ce qui assure des soudures extr\u00eamement fines et profondes \u00e0 des vitesses de d\u00e9placement tr\u00e8s \u00e9lev\u00e9es. Le proc\u00e9d\u00e9 Hybri r\u00e9ussit souvent en une seule passe ce que les proc\u00e9d\u00e9s de soudage par fusion traditionnels obtiennent \u00e0 l&#8217;aide de nombreuses passes. La pi\u00e8ce est soumise \u00e0 une charge thermique inf\u00e9rieure, ce qui r\u00e9duit les risques de retraite et de distorsion qui emp\u00eachent de pr\u00e9voir la g\u00e9om\u00e9trie finale de la soudure et entra\u00eenent des frais \u00e9lev\u00e9s de r\u00e9paration. Le proc\u00e9d\u00e9 utilise conjointement le laser et le soudage \u00e0 l&#8217;arc m\u00e9tallique (GMAW) pour surmonter les limites impos\u00e9es par le soudage laser seul et produire des joints de soudure qui s&#8217;int\u00e8grent parfaitement entre les pi\u00e8ces. L&#8217;enveloppe qu&#8217;assure cette solution est trois fois plus solide et plus vaste qu&#8217;avec le laser seul. Le proc\u00e9d\u00e9 GMAW permet \u00e9galement aux utilisateurs d&#8217;ajouter un m\u00e9tal d&#8217;apport pour ajuster les caract\u00e9ristiques m\u00e9tallurgiques des soudures et cr\u00e9er des cordons tandis que le taux de refroidissement inf\u00e9rieur r\u00e9duit la duret\u00e9. Ces caract\u00e9ristiques se r\u00e9v\u00e8lent particuli\u00e8rement avantageuses en cas de joints alliant du carbone et de l&#8217;acier inoxydable. Le syst\u00e8me de contr\u00f4le adaptatif \u00e0 circuit ferm\u00e9 du fabricant d\u00e9tecte les conditions d&#8217;installation du joint et modifient les param\u00e8tres du proc\u00e9d\u00e9 en temps r\u00e9el pour garantir la constance du profil de la soudure.
