Que ce soit l\u2019industrie m\u00e9dicale ou celle du luxe, l\u2019a\u00e9rospatial ou l\u2019automobile, l\u2019horlogerie ou l\u2019\u00e9lectronique voire les autres domaines d\u2019application, les objectifs technologiques de qualit\u00e9, de miniaturisation, de fonctionnarisation intelligente et de r\u00e9duction des co\u00fbts sont omnipr\u00e9sents. Transformation num\u00e9rique, contexte de grande incertitude, nouvelles attentes des salari\u00e9s, bataille pour attirer les talents\u2026 Nombreux sont les d\u00e9fis qu\u2019elles doivent affronter les obligeant \u00e0 gagner en souplesse et r\u00e9activit\u00e9. Mais comment ? Tout simplement en faisant appel aux nouveaux mod\u00e8les de management et d\u2019organisation. Baptis\u00e9es lean durable, m\u00e9thodes agiles, holacratie, entreprise lib\u00e9r\u00e9e, organisation opale, entreprise \u00e0 mission, etc., ces d\u00e9marches regroup\u00e9es sous le sigle &#8220;NMMO&#8221; sont en fait moins &#8220;nouvelles&#8221; qu\u2019il n\u2019y para\u00eet et s\u2019inspirent de courants anciens. C\u2019est ce qu\u2019explique Suzy Canivenc dans son ouvrage &#8220;Les nouveaux modes de management et d\u2019organisation &#8211; Innovation ou effet de mode ?&#8221;(1). Ce dernier s\u2019attache \u00e0 d\u00e9crire les pratiques r\u00e9elles associ\u00e9es aux NMMO, mais aussi les emb\u00fbches et points de vigilance \u00e0 garder en t\u00eate lors de leur d\u00e9ploiement. \u00c0 partir de l\u2019\u00e9tude d\u2019une vingtaine d\u2019organisations allant d\u2019entreprises autog\u00e9r\u00e9es \u00e0 des divisions de grands groupes, l\u2019auteur a identifi\u00e9 six pratiques r\u00e9currentes qui caract\u00e9risent les nouveaux mod\u00e8les de management et d\u2019organisation. Cherchant \u00e0 se d\u00e9hi\u00e9rarchiser, se \u00ab d\u00e9siloter \u00bb et s\u2019agiliser pour \u00eatre plus r\u00e9actives, mieux r\u00e9pondre aux besoins des clients et mieux satisfaire les attentes des salari\u00e9s, les entreprises se tournent massivement vers ces nouveaux mod\u00e8les de management et d\u2019organisation. Si les salari\u00e9s s\u2019expriment souvent en faveur de ces nouveaux modes de travail, force est de constater qu\u2019ils ne sont pas faciles \u00e0 implanter et que les entreprises butent sur de nombreuses difficult\u00e9s de conception, d\u2019adoption ou de mise en \u0153uvre. L\u2019\u00e9volution vers les NMMO n\u2019est donc pas aussi simple \u00e0 mettre en \u0153uvre qu\u2019il n\u2019y para\u00eet. La mont\u00e9e en autonomie, les changements dans les fronti\u00e8res de responsabilit\u00e9, la disparition des routines ant\u00e9rieures, les difficult\u00e9s de coordination, le sentiment de chaos qui s\u2019ensuit, peuvent entra\u00eener une mont\u00e9e des risques psychosociaux ainsi que des effets de retrait ou des d\u00e9missions, entachant le climat social et l\u2019efficience, \u00e0 rebours des effets esp\u00e9r\u00e9s. Seule une approche syst\u00e9mique, patiente, prudente, it\u00e9rative et incluant les acteurs de terrain, peut permettre d\u2019ancrer durablement le changement et d\u2019obtenir les b\u00e9n\u00e9fices escompt\u00e9s tant en termes d\u2019am\u00e9lioration continue que de respect des parties prenantes. Force est de constater qu\u2019il existe un tr\u00e8s large \u00e9ventail dans les mani\u00e8res de concevoir et d\u2019implanter ces NMMO, allant d\u2019une simple recherche de flexibilit\u00e9 des \u00e9quipes \u00e0 la qu\u00eate d\u2019une gouvernance plus d\u00e9mocratique inspir\u00e9e par une mission d\u2019ordre sup\u00e9rieur. Il importe donc de ne pas s\u2019arr\u00eater aux \u00e9tiquettes et de regarder, dans le d\u00e9tail, tant les pratiques implant\u00e9es que les mani\u00e8res dont elles sont mises en place.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00eames constations pour le rapport de veille technologique r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par Square Research Center (2), un groupe de conseil en strat\u00e9gie et organisation qui r\u00e9unit neuf cabinets en France. A partir d\u2019une analyse approfondie des \u00e9crits acad\u00e9miques (articles et ouvrages scientifiques, th\u00e8ses, actes de colloque) relatifs aux nouveaux modes de management et d\u2019organisation du travail, il tire des enseignements, tant th\u00e9oriques que pratiques, pour am\u00e9liorer le fonctionnement des entreprises. Ces constats sont mis en perspective dans le contexte actuel qui a vu appara\u00eetre et s\u2019\u00e9tendre de nouvelles formes organisationnelles autoris\u00e9es par les technologies num\u00e9riques (plateformisation, travail \u00e0 distance) et les nouvelles formes d&#8217;entreprises (organisations \u00e9tendues).
