Elle utilise plusieurs technologies brevet\u00e9es qui permettent une caract\u00e9risation m\u00e9canique et tribologique quantitative \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9chelle nanom\u00e9trique. Chaque aspect du processus de mesure et d&#8217;analyse int\u00e8gre des technologies r\u00e9centes, notamment le contr\u00f4leur Performech III, les modes de contr\u00f4le de r\u00e9troaction avanc\u00e9s, la nano indentation dynamique nanoDMA IV et la cartographie des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s m\u00e9caniques \u00e0 grande vitesse XPM II. Les \u00e9chantillons peuvent \u00eatre mont\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019aide du mandrin universel et mesur\u00e9s sur une plus grande surface testable. Le logiciel TriboScan 12 permet une utilisation \u00e0 distance de l&#8217;instrument. L\u2019Hysitron TI 990 TriboIndenter offre un d\u00e9bit de test deux fois plus rapide et une zone de test plus grande, de 200\u00a0mm x 300 mm.
