Une approche chiplet va notamment de pair avec une plus grande miniaturisation de la production. Alors que des distances de contact \u00e9lectrique de 10\u00a0\u00b5m et donc des pr\u00e9cisions de 1 \u00b5m \u00e9taient encore la norme en mati\u00e8re de fabrication de puces en 2010, ces mesures sont actuellement de 2 \u00b5m et 200 nm. En effet, l\u2019industrie exige une optimisation encore plus pouss\u00e9e afin de r\u00e9aliser des applications telles que des puces pour robots humano\u00efdes et v\u00e9hicules autonomes. Les codeurs dot\u00e9s de la technologie MULTI-DOF de Heidenhain peuvent saisir jusqu\u2019\u00e0 six degr\u00e9s de libert\u00e9 en plus de leur axe de mesure principal. En raison de leur r\u00e9troaction multidimensionnelle, ces codeurs sont connus sous la d\u00e9signation &#8220;D plus&#8221;. En mesurant le mouvement dans des degr\u00e9s de libert\u00e9 suppl\u00e9mentaires, les encodeurs MULTI-DOF peuvent d\u00e9tecter et compenser les impr\u00e9cisions in\u00e9vitables dans le monde r\u00e9el. Il s&#8217;agit notamment des influences thermiques et des \u00e9carts de rectitude dans la pr\u00e9cision des guidages lin\u00e9aires, sans oublier les tol\u00e9rances de fabrication et d&#8217;assemblage. La collecte de ces donn\u00e9es augmente simultan\u00e9ment la pr\u00e9cision du positionnement et les performances dynamiques.
