Source\u202f: Fraunhofer IWU<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les instituts Fraunhofer IWU (machines-outils et technologie de formage) et IFAM (technologie de fabrication et la recherche sur les mat\u00e9riaux avanc\u00e9s) ont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 un mat\u00e9riau composite qui associe la mousse d&#8217;aluminium avec des sph\u00e8res creuses remplies de particules. Baptis\u00e9e HoverLIGHT, cette solution, utilis\u00e9e pour la r\u00e9alisation<br>des structures de machines-outils, combine l\u00e9g\u00e8ret\u00e9, rigidit\u00e9 et amortissement des vibrations. Utilis\u00e9e dans un projet men\u00e9 avec le Groupe Chiron, ce mat\u00e9riau a amorti les vibrations d&#8217;un facteur 3 et a assur\u00e9 un gain de poids de 20\u202f% par rapport aux solutions habituelles. Ce qui conduit \u00e0 une plus grande pr\u00e9cision d&#8217;usinage et une dur\u00e9e de vie plus longue de la machine. Les bras robotis\u00e9s con\u00e7us comme des structures sandwich b\u00e9n\u00e9ficieraient \u00e9galement d&#8217;une rigidit\u00e9 \u00e9lev\u00e9e \u00e0 faible masse. Les chercheurs allemands poursuivent l\u2019am\u00e9lioration d\u2019HoverLIGHT et l\u2019\u00e9largissement de son champ d\u2019application.
