MICRONORA – WHAT? WHO? WHERE? WHEN?

Micronora was originally created (first event in 1970) to promote watchmaking techniques and micromechanics, but in 1976, with the watchmaking sector in crisis, the trade fair’s focus turned to high precision technology.

Micromechanics and microelectronics then became increasingly present in products. Hence, in 1980, Micronora once again honed its brand image by adopting the term ‘microtechnology’.

The name Micronora is composed of two parts: Micron (micron precision) / (H)ora (in reference to watchmaking)

The Micronora trade fair is now the leading international microtechnology and high precision trade fair.

It is an international trade fair that brings together the entire microtechnology and nanotechnology sector, from R&D to sub-contracting and production technologies.

The exhibitors are industrial companies from France and abroad, operating in the fields of microtechnology, high precision and nanotechnology.
Their expertise ranges vastly from R&D to sub-contracting and production technologies:

Before taking part in a trade fair, you must first set attainable and quantifiable goals.
What are your main goals as a trade fair exhibitor?

For example:

  • Main goal: to build my reputation

Indicators: the number of flyers distributed during the fair, the number of people visiting your stand, etc.

  • Main goal: to increase sales

Indicators: the number of relevant contacts made through the fair, the number of meetings set, the number of quotes delivered and the number of contracts signed through the fair.

All of this requires carefully monitoring your communication tools and linking the contact made to a given tool. This will enable you to clearly identify the source of your customer contact to be able to attribute it to a given communication tool, such as the trade fair.

Also be aware that a trade fair can have an impact over several months, so it is important to continue monitoring in the long term (at least 1 year).

No, we do not share or sell a list of visitors.
